The Target/ DC USA retail center is now open! The grand opening was on Saturday March 8, 2008!

Shoppers are encouraged to use public transit. Take the green/yellow line extention to Columbia Heights or take the bus. Bus routes include the 50s line along 14th St, S-line along 16th Street, and the H-line crosstown routes.

DC USA is a 540,000 square foot retail and entertainment complex located near the Columbia Heights metro station at 3100 14th St, NW. In all, the development created 1,600 permanent full-time jobs. Target alone has already hired 320 employees – and 250 of them are DC residents.

The development has a 1,200 car underground parking garage. The garage costs $1 an hour for each of the first four hours.

Small businesses occupy 15,000 square feet set-aside at a discount.
