Councilmember Graham is chair of the Committee on Public Works and the Environment. The committee has oversight over many of our government’s core functions – parking; road/alley construction; environment; transportation planning and policy; school transit subsidies; trash/recycling and alcohol regulation, just to name a few.

Councilmember Graham continues to serve on the committee he chaired in 2005-06 (previously the Committee on Consumer and Regulatory Affairs), along with the Committee on Finance and Revenue and the Committee on Housing and Urban Affairs. He continues also to hold a voting seat representing the District on the Metro/WMATA Board of Directors.
